What is this?

THIS... is an archive containing the fully commented C source code for my little 68K
Macintosh game, OPERATION : PewPew!

The idea being, if you're interested in learning programming on the vintage 68k Macintosh,
you can check out the routines that make PewPew work.
I'm not a professional programmer by any means, just a nostalgic Firefighter who loves the
80s and 90s computer era of my youth, so I'm sure there are WAY better, more
efficient tricks and techniques to accomplish some of the effects I wrote...

Please feel free to update the code and share it with me and the community! :)
The ultimate goal is to get this running smoothly on 68030 (maybe 020?) machines.

PewPew! was written in C, using CodeWarrior PRO 4 and I'v included the full CW project folder with
all libraries, code and resource file you need to open it up and start exploring / compiling your
own awesome version!

Runs smoothly on 68040 based MACs running System 7.
Will run on a 68030 SE/30, but slowly (too slowly to play).

Features
There are TONS of features I could/should have included.
Some planned upgrades (for when I get free time... lol) are:
- further optimization for fast & smooth graphics on 68030 (and maybe 68020) based MACs.
- A 'settings' menu where you can define details, like # of stars, bonus frequency, enemy health, strength, etc..
- Your choice of different ships, each with different abilities and weaknesses.
- More enemy sprites and boss characters, each with their own personality and attacks.
